Hi all, i’ve only just joined this site, and am so pleased I have found it, just sat here for an hour reading lots of topics and all your stories etc. Its really helped me.

I have wanted BA for years now, i’m 29 and I cant ever remember being happy about myself. I had a consultation 3 weeks ago and was so pleased. Have my consultation with Surgeon next Thursday 20th, am really nervous but excited at same time. I am definately going to be gettin it done as we have already applied for the loan and it should be in our bank in a few days (I cant beleive it), its all becoming real now, I just want the app with the surgeon to come quick now! I’m seeing Mr Adamo??

I didnt think I would ever actually come round to having this done, but I have become so obsessed recently, its always on my mind.

Has anyone gone for this late space booking they are offering? We have put down for that as the money off will really help out. Has been a bit of a struggle really. If so how much notice do they give you? I would really like to book it up when we go next week and have it done as soon as possible, i will be extremely nervous, (it doesnt take much to make me nervous!!) so the quicker I’m in the better! Dont know how soon I’ll be likely to have it done, is there a long waiting list?? I really hope not!

I have no idea on sizes he will recommend or anything yet. At the mo my boobs are both very different, which i hate, but i think ones a b cup and the other an a, although I havent been measured in years so that really is a guess.

Anyone with any info or advice would be really appreciated, on any aspects on this op!

Hope to hear from somee of you soon ;~) x x

    Hi
I went for the late space friday and was given a few dates to choose from ranging from 2-4 wks.I went for the 1st available one because i did’nt want to change my mind-i had also wanted it done for years! It is now 6 months since i had them done and could’nt be happier.I went from a empty 32 d to a full 32 ff,this make seem big but they do not look massive and out of propotion. My only regret is that i did’nt have them done years ago.

    Hi
Everything is fine and the scars are healing well,i’am just so happy that i had them done.I opted to stay in the hospital over night and so glad i did because i did not feel great and had the drains in aswell which helps with the swelling and would also have been a bit worried about the slightest thing had i gone home.I guess i thought if i’am paying all this money i may aswell pay a bit more to put my mind at rest. The first few days at home i was worried about the slightest twing and kept getting a burning sensation which turned out to be nothing but did not stop me panicking.

I would probably be the same, will worry over the slightest thing. I couldnt afford to pay the extra and have opted for the day case, however they have said if I really am not well or not feeling well afterwards then they will keep me in anyway. I think i will feel so much better just coming home with my partner, his so good and caring bless him, i’m usually quite tearful after having an op of any kind, its the anaethetic i think, so i would rather be with him than stay in.

Glad your healing well. You do sound very happy and thats so nice to hear, havent heard of anyone having any regrets yet which is always a very good sign! haha ;~) x x

ANG-you say you were an empty d cup, was it after weight loss and/or breastfeeding?I can’t afford an uplift but Harley street said I borderline and should get it done as implants would make them sag even more.Just wondered if anyone else was saggy but just had implants?i can’t afford an uplift:(Thanks,Sonia

    Hi
I was a d cup with losing weight and was also told by a surgeon at the hospital group that i defo needed a uplift at the same time,I did not want an uplift because of the scars. When i saw mr kazzazi at mya he said i was borderline but don’t have to have one yet and may not need one if i look after them. They look great and mr kazzazi was happy with them when i returned for my 12wk appointment and said i may never need uplift.I wear my sports bra for bed and it is very rare i never have a bra on-i would rather do this than them start going saggy.

Oh thanks Ang.I don’t want the scarring either and although I think our family is complete I may change my mind and I would definitely want to breastfeed which is highly unlikely after an uplift isn’t it?Oooooh I am now starting to allow myself to get excited again. After my consultation with Harley I was devastated, thought I would never get myself sorted as there is no way we can afford the uplift.Oh thank you Ang-you have given me hope!!Can I ask what cc you got and how long ago was your op?I defo want to go back to being a dd after my boobs have sagged down to an empty b cup and harley said I defo need uplift if want that big an implant!

    Hi Sara

Just thought I would give you some info on dr Adamo – I had my BA with him at highgate 12 days ago. He is fantastic and really puts you at ease, he listening to all my questions and exaclty what I wanted. I tried lots of different implants in my bra to see the size and we agreed on 380cc (I was 30b) now 30d/dd and the result is – I love my boobs! They look really naturel and the scars are very neat and healing well.
I havent even worn a sports bra – He says there is no need if this makes you uncomfortable so I have been bra free!
The post care with MYA is also brill with follow up calls on the day and support 24.7 when required.

If I can help with any other questions just let me know and good luck with your consultation.
