Nicotine test?? :s help!

Can anyone who has had max marcellino tell me if he does a nicotine test before surgery? At my pre op the nurse just said it’s advised as it can delay healing etc but nothing about not having any traces?! I’m vaping using 3mg and in the next week go down to 0 but after seeing a lot of comments I’m panicing as I’m only 9 days away!!

@lauren1507 I had Marcelino and he didn’t do a nicotine test, possibly because I’m not a smoker but I haven’t heard of anyone else having one before surgery. I just know that some people were advised to stop at least 2/4 weeks beforehand. You should be fine though if you’re going down to 0 before surgery x

i had a consultation with max on friday, my surgery is on the 25th, I asked about smoking, do i need to give it up before etc, his answer was it is up to me. He didn’t seem bothered that i was a smoker

I’m a smoker & was told to give up 2 weeks before, I didn’t and they didn’t test me…….I don’t think there is a test they can do! I did stop for the week after surgery as it can slow the healing process.
