Has anyone had a day out drinking without the post op bra on or a different type of bra? It’s my birthday at the weekend and really struggling to find a dress I like that has thick enough straps to cover the bra strap and one that comes up as high as the bra from the front..
Or would anyone be able to recommend a different bra for 1 day xx
Yeh went to a wedding drank way too much but that’s another story ha ha just got a non wire bra from m&s they have loads to chose from xx
I have an m and s one too, the sumptuously soft post surgery bra is good as it’s so soft on the incision area. I wore an Asda non wired one to wear quite a deep plunge v neck playsuit last weekend (something I’d never be able to wear before… was so tempted to go bra less but thought I best look after them!!) that was good and couldn’t see it at all xx
Ah brilliant thankyou, I’ll have a look. I know it’s a night mare every dress j like is a plunge one but can see the post op bra in it. What was the Asda one like Clare? Xx
This is it. The flash has made it look funny but it’s plain black cotton! Xx
I am having the same dilemma lol! I am 2 weeks post op. Scared that I’m still very early on so I have just bought a high neck dress. Would you still recommend the m&s bra at such an early stage @clare141 xxx
@amypatriciagilbert The pic above is the Asda one, the M and S one doesn’t seem as low as that one. I think it probably depends on your surgeon Hun. I got told I could wear non wired from 2 weeks as long as I still wore my sports bra at night. To be honest I’ve still mainly worn my sports bra as they’re comfort but just nice to know I can wear the others if needed! They’ve both been fine when I’ve worn them though, still comfy but sometimes feel slightly achy if I’ve had them on all day… I tend to only wear them for a few hours at time though just when needed. Would definitely recommend either as still supportive just obviously a little less than a sports bra! Xxx
