Night time :(

Im 5 days post op today. I had 380 unders. Everything went smoothly- my left side remains really high and swollen- not too concerned yet tho.

Im doing ok recovery wise- cant take codeine so ive managed on paracetamol and ibuprofen. Im feeling much better in the day but at night i cannot get comfy and wake up with throbbing/burning boobs throughout the night. If i get up and walk around iy eases but never completely goes till i get up in the morning. Is this ‘morning boob’ anc if so when does it stop…im nakard!!!

I really struggled with sleeping upright as well, could never get comfy! I had unders and they started to ease after the first week, i’m 2 weeks post op today and I don’t really have any pain, just some tightness. Hopefully won’t last too much longer for you! I was using gel ice packs to help with the throbbing/burning which really helped! xx

Not sure how high up you are sleeping but try a more 45 degree angle. I have lots of pillows around me and started putting a triangle pillow just near the bottom of my bum to stop me slipping down.
It really is a case of just wiggling the pillows about until you get comfy. I’m 3wpo now and some nights I’m so comfortable but if I accidentally move a pillow out of place it’s ruined lol
