Nipple Numbness

I had my BA 22nd November last year. I can feel more than what I used to in my nipples and more so in my right one. They are not as sensitive as they were before my BA which is stressing me out. My surgeon (Ben Chew) told me that if I can feel something after a year it can take up to two years to fully recover and that there is still time, Can someone put my mind at rest and let me know if they only felt a little after a year and by the end of two years it had got a bit better?
