I am currently in the research stage of BA (have my free first consultation scheduled for this weekend!). I have read and heard that nipple numbness is a very real risk to this procedure. I was wondering if any of you out there that have had a BA have ended up with this? I realise that there will be loss of sensation to most of if not all of the breast immediately after the op but it’s nipple numbness that concerns me most.
My nipples were and still are super sensitive as appose to numb, parts of my breasts are but certainly not my nipples! Ha I think there is more risk of this with overs add there’s is more chance of damaging the nerves, do you know if you’d be having overs or unders? X
From what I have read I am most keen on unders despite the longer healing time. I have my first consultation in Saturday so it will be interesting to see what they have to say. Great to have some feedback off you guys though ? x
