Nipple piercing

Iv got my nipples pierced and I’m wondering if anyone kept there’s in during surgery, I don’t want to have to take them out as I don’t want them healing, iv read that some surgeon can take them out for u and put them back in once they’ve done ??

I had mine done and got told to take them out and to keep them out. My surgeon said it has a higher risk of infection.

You have to take all piercings out for any surgery I think x
