Nipples!

I know I’m probably just being impatient and I know there’s a long way to go with healing and it’s probably just swelling but did anyone else get REALLY puffy/swollen nipples after surgery? They’ve gone huge I can’t even describe it other than they look like swollen little buds that girls get in puberty? It’s only been 3 days since my surgery but I’m panicking it’s never going to go away and I’m going to be stuck like this forever?!

Hey I’m 12 days post op and my nipples were the same. They’ve gone down a little bit since but not how they used to be. It’s all down to the swelling from the op, give it time and they will be back to how they were before your op in no time xx

I just had a nosey at your pics Gina and mine look way bigger and swollen than yours, yours look like they’re coming along lovely! I’m wearing a breast band which probably isn’t helping with the cone shape I’ve currently got or how big they look but it’s so weird! They’re honestly massive!! The first few days I thought it was funny but now I’m getting really worried. Hoping the nurse says it’s fine when I go for my 1 week check in a few days.

My nipples have been so numb but now I’m starting to get the feeling back and they’re sooooo sore ???? It’s horrible xx

My problem at the minute is one nipple is bigger than the other, its the one that has dropped more so I’m hoping when the other catches up they will be the same, I’m nearly 5 weeks tho!

I couldn’t feel mine at first it was so weird I’m nearly 2week post op now and my nipples are so sensitive and sore I can feel the smallest thing and they keep going hard (how embarrassing lol I had to put abit of tissues over then the ova day when I was in work I was that paranoid over it, they have started to settle down a little now xx

I couldn’t feel mine at all on the day of the op and the day after but it’s slowly coming back. Just worrying about how puffy they are. I’m sitting here with ice packs on them trying to wake them up a bit and encourage them to go back to a normal size. So funny how it affects everyone differently
