Nipples not stitched properly? Help please!

Okay so! At my 5 day post op appointment & my 2 week one today, I noticed and also pointed out that my right nipple where I had my uplift seemed to not be attached properly like the rest of it is & this has concerned me since I first saw it. I’ve been assured it will still heal properly but I really think it needs to get looked at again as I think it might need more stitches?

I’ve been given some dressing for a few days to re apply after a shower, but every time I take off my dressing I get really worried that something will go wrong with it & it won’t attach properly/die etc.

Has anyone had any experience like this before?

Hey I had this! Please keep pestering them and raise your concerns about extra stitches because I just listerned to them when they said it will heal properly.. which it did but I now have a big scar ontop!

@shannenc92 Thanks for replying! I’ve called them today & got an appointment for next Monday. So I’ll keep changing the dressing this week..

Can you describe what yours was like? & your experience? So even though you have a big scar did it actually settle down & connect?

The majority of my nipple is okay, it’s completely stitched, just there’s a portion where I can clearly see it isn’t!
