No call/text/ email back after trying to contact Birmingham for a week!

Hi ladies,

Has anyone else been having problems contacting the Birmingham clinic or their coordinators?

I’ve been trying to contact the Birmingham clinic for about a week. My pre-op is Saturday and I’ve been trying to arrange to try the implants again because I’m so unsure on size. My problem is is that I live about and hour away from the clinic and will struggle to get back there before my op. I’ve left a number of texts, emailed, called (a fair few times) and have left 2 answer messages. I can’t fault the service up to the point of payment but now I’m struggling just to hear back off someone. Im so nervous about the op and hoping that this isnt an ongoing thing now that I’ve paid.

Thanks @jeyx I’ve had a call back now saying their voicemail has been playing up. I was getting into abit of a tizz thinking they wouldn’t give as good a service now if paid.

Hi @courts78 I’ve been offered 300cc or 325cc. Although not a major difference, I’ve got in mind what I want to look like and scared 325cc will be bigger than I planned xx

Awwww chick the ex 25cc is only 25g more both sizes will take will be the same cup I promise you chick if you put out that out in butter you will see you got nothing to worry about there are 150cc per cup that’s the easy way to understand how CC are workout 1cc = 1g try this it’s works a treat most girls end up doing this and finding out they was as big as what they think so try this and walk around and get a feel for the sizes xx

Awwww chick it’s so hard when you don’t know what the sizes are and most find they want bigger b4 there there op there is nothing worse walking away after your op and kicking your self for not going bigger keep me posted on u get on with the bags xx

If your a cup now 300cc is only two more cup with will take you to A full cup I would go bk to him and ask him what the maximum of CC you can have 200cc – 415cc is class as samll implants 450cc should take you dffo to a D cup anyway just try the rice sizes and see how you feel chick as I’ve seen lots of girls upset and saying there implants just look they did in a push bra xx

Hi ladies. Sorry to be ranting again but I’m having the same problem.

My fiirst comment I mentioned that I was struggling to contact my clinic with them not getting back to my calls, texts and emails. Although that was sorted I’m having the same problem.

This time I was contacted by my PC who advised my surgery had been cancelled on the 19th Jan due to unforeseen circumstances and they could move it to 18th. Although that was fine my hotel was booked and they are unable to move my stay back a day. I’m now having to fork out another £145 for an extra night. Although my PC was contacting me about this and answering other queries she was not replying to my query as to whether there is anything they can do to help with the situation. She then replied to me with more info on the surgery and asked if I was out of pocket at all. I again explained the situation and asked whether they can help and she has not got back to me. I have sent a number of texts and emails chasing as well as calling and being told she will ring me the following day which never happened. This has taken place over a matter of 2 weeks and and my last chaser was on the 23rd where the receptionist told me she’d make sure she’d ring me on Christmas Eve. I know they are busy with the build up to Christmas but a courtesy email back or an outright no would be better then ignoring me.

I’m quite upset as you can I magine with it costing me more money and my nerves are building up with the surgery. There so nice to me when I’m there and on the phone that I almost don’t want to raise it further. Plus I don’t want them to be more difficult with me after my surgery. Has anyone else been in a similar situation. And how did you get on?

I’m with the Birmingham clinic and I think they are awful at responding! I tried for a whole week to sort my medical out and they didn’t bother getting back to me at all. You’re right they’re so nice when you are there my PC said she would phone me on the day of my op… I’m 5 days post op and still no phone call. I hope you get your issues sorted just keep trying them and say you’re not happy about the lack of response after all we have paid a lot of money for their service too!

@alisonc20 I know I sort of wished I’d gone with someone else alrady and I’ve not even had my surgery yet. I think I’ll chase it into the new year and ask for details of who I can raise it with further if I’m still getting nowhere. How did you find your surgery? And are you getting on okay with your record? I’m so nervous already and dreading the whole thing! Xx

The surgery itself is fine you’re treated well in hospital and looked after. Luckily I’ve been absolutely fine I had my surgery and came home on the train the same day. The only discomfort I’ve had is in the morning. They are so hard and swollen so first thing is having pain killers. I’m strapped up at the moment so can’t really see what they are like but I can already tell I’ve made a great decision. When is your surgery and what are you having?

Thanks @alisonc20 did you find you were in much pain in the way home with the travelling? My surgery is on Monday the 18th Jan and I’m having 325cc mod+ partials from a 32a. Hoping for D ?. What did you have? How was having your strapping of? I’ve heard it’s not a nice experience.
