no idea were im going!!

hi i have my pre op booked in for tuesday but currently have no idea were im going! i have been told its the highgate hospital but that is it!!!!
i was told that i would receive full details of the hospitals address and some directions of how to get there but have received nothing at all can some one help me please 🙂

but were is it i dont live in london and i feel like they asume i know were im heading iv not had an addrees all i have been told is highgate ;/

It is best to get in contact with your PC x

Your pre op is at your local clinic, the one you see your PC at. You will go see the nurse there and it takes an hour max. Highgate is the hospital, and you will get directions (if your having your actual op there) closer to the time xx

thanx guys iv been trying to contact my pc but not been getting through and had no responce from my local clinic,
I have been told i have to have the pre op in highgate as my surgion cant come to my local one before my op date now. im now just over 4 weeks from the op and am excited but agitatded about not knowing were to go for pre op lol.

It’s the nurse that will do your pre-op hun, there’s nothing challenging or complicated involved, she will take photos, go through the op, take swabs for mrsa, check your medical history, check bp, height and weight, maybes take blood (not every girl needs to have hers checked), advise on post op bras
Unless your unsure of things you don’t normally see the surgeon until your op.

woho i finaly managed to actually talk to someone today instead of another answer machine and have finaly been sent a map so i know more or less were to go lol wish it was my local mya clinic as i know were that is but hey ho trip to london here we go haha thank you everyone for help yesterday x

How come you’re having to go all the way to hospital xx

its the london clinic i got to go to! i dunno they said summik to do with it being the time of year and very few appointments available for pre ops :/
