    3 weeks since my original op date and I’m no further forward. I’ve paid for my procedure in full and have trxt my PC for updates and hopefully an op date. Receive hardly any response, why am I doing the chasing? Surely MYA should be looking after their patients?!

    I’m so annoyed with them! I am hoping to get booked in week commencing 22nd of March but haven’t had any communication from PC! I’m going to make a complaint, it’s shocking, I had so much contact from MYA when I was researching etc but as soon as I paid in full, I’m pushed to the back!!! I would go elsewhere, but that just means going through everything again, it’s easier to just stay put X

    Just threaten them ring them up and kick off it’s shocking, it’s the same when u pay cash for an electrical item and it breaks they don’t want to no cos u have payed cash it’s shocking I get so frustrated! Ring head office and say this is not acceptable I have commitments and need to get things organised for my op don’t give up Hun! Good luck Hun kick sum ass xxx

    I have had much less response since I paid too… When I was in the process of paying I was getting immediate emails back and there has been a few times that I haven’t even had a response at all… very annoying!!! I hope the ‘lifetime guarantee and after care’ isn’t like this too…xxx

    I have to text at least two or three times to even get a response.. It’s atrocious considering how much money it costs! I got excellent service when I was researching, since then I’ve had nothing, I agree Lauren, fingers crossed the after care is a lot better than this!! Xx

    I have had a response now.. I think my PC was out of the office! She has been very good so I would have been disappointed if it was just because MYA had my money! I am relieved!
    Maybe try giving your PC a call and if no answer call the surgery? Could you even maybe ask of you could change to a different PC? xx

    No word of a lie, mine just rang me too as she wasn’t in the office, don’t suppose your with newcastle clinic? It’s a relief now and I feel better about it!! Xx

    I had the same issue (Cardiff office) but after posting about it on here, MYA emailed me and I had a phone call from them the same day to rectify the issues I had. My PC left and I now have a new PC who is great, can’t fault her. If you are having problems, call the office instead of your PC and they will sort it for you xx

    That’s terrible! I was only only able to do a particular date, I paid my deposit to secure the day then had my surgeon consultation and pre op with the nurse then paid in full my op was about 3-4 weeks later!

    My PC rang me, she has been away from the office and just got back, she’s chasing up what she needs today and said she will ring me back later today! Let’s hope it’s with good news!! Xx

    I had consultations with newcastle and paid a deposit, she was constantly ringing asking for more money to get it paid off, then when I told her I was unsure on what to do and wanted to have a longer think about it because I was so nervous (never had an op before etc) and she basically just blanked me, was so rude when I asked for the deposit back even though it was within the seven day cooling off period, I got nothing back.

    They do just seem to care about when the money comes in and that’s it.

    I’ve heard the after care isn’t too good and seen stuff on here before it gets deleted.

    Sorry if I seem to be putting a downer on it but I just thought you should know xxx
