Not healing properly :(

Hi ladies, hope everyone’s well 🙂

I had a breast lift and implant – 295cc unders high profile I’m post op day 12 now was 32b look d cup.

I had nurse appointment day 10 to take dressings off but she said my left breast underneath wasn’t healing properly and the right nipple had a little gap. She added more steri strips and said to go back in a week. I said will it knit together shecsaid hopefully. I said does she put stitches in if it doesn’t and she said worst case scenario I would have to go back for surgery under general. So was bit disappointed, really don’t want to go in again as only just feeling a bit better. Had a little bleeding from left side last night but rang the nurse on the helpline and they said to watch it for more pain or an infection.

Can’t have. Shower still til sorted so bit fed up. Trying to rest as much as poss, tricky this time of year and with my children but will.

Anyone else take a while to heal?

Ps I think I might have been allergic to the dressing tape too, that’s off now and I haven’t worn compression band for couple of days as it was cutting in and trouble breathing cold. Anyway on a positive note they’re starting to drop a little 🙂 xx

Yeah I’m still healing ! Wasn’t closed properly at week check up so had dressings kept on and put strips on myself I didn’t shower or bath till 3 week which I think is best even though nurse said 10 days would be fine … Even 4weeks 3 weeks days p.o I still have scabs and skin feels thin where incisions were I’m just careful I guess I have to be I’m diabetic so I’m slow at healing anyway! Just don’t go rubbin bio oil etc in till you know it’s all closed 🙂 and yeah I feel your frustration I have a two and a half year old and he loves to be picked up and cuddled proberly held me back a bit lol

Thanks guys. Xx lottie thanks at least I’m not the only one. No I haven’t put any bio oil yet, will after 6 weeks got that and arnicaccream ready. Happy healing xxx
