Hi Gemma, my op went like a dream thank you! I had an early admission time of 8:00 just like I had wanted, I was first on the list on the day for surgery just like I had wanted, I was in theatre by 9:00 and out so quickly and I had no sickness or pain at all afterwards, then I was discharged already at 13:30. I can’t believe it’s been a week already! So far so good – of course I won’t have much of an idea of the full effect for a few more weeks while I wait for them to drop and fluff fully, and as always I probably think they look smaller than they really are (boob greed) but there is undeniably an massive improvement already compared to the absolute abomination I had ruining my chest before! I have my one week post operative appointment today so should get my dressings changed and find out how my incisions are healing, I always think they look bigger once those huge dressings are off, anyway! I will attach a picture of my before and after from three days post op, but they have already changed heaps since then, they are nowhere near as high or tight on my chest as they were at first, they get better every day. Hopefully try to get an updated one week post op photo today! Good luck for your surgery, not long to wait now! Dr. Mounir is wonderful and all the staff at Preston are exceptional so you are in good hands. My best advice is to just enjoy it, it’s a huge life event and you’ve paid a lot of money for this! You’ll have a ball.
