    Hey girls.
I have attended my consultation and I am booked up to speak to my surgeon this week. I AM SO EXCITED. I was planning on waiting until October, so that I could have this done for my 21st. I have started to put £200 a month away and I am currently wondering if anyone could help me out. On finance I will be paying just under £200 pm anyway, should I carry on saving until October so that I have a chunk to put down or should I push it forward? The way I see it is that I may as well get it done asap rather than just waiting around saving my money up?.. Any advice would be great x

Do you think getting a separate loan is a better idea? I know the interest rate on Mya is pretty high? Xx

100% get your own loan if you want to do it that way. MYA interest rates are awful I would go with tesco or sainsburys for the best rate on that small amount. Unless you can afford the repayments on the 10 months free interest from MYA steer away from their offers

    I guess its personal preference..
I suppose saving up will give you the peace of mind that its done and paid for and you won’t have monthly payments to worry about. I guess you won’t then have to worry about what if you lose your job, what if unexpected costs come up etc.
I initially did try for a loan but got declined. Don’t really know why tbh, I once had a student overdraft which is now paid off, I’ve never missed a payment on any of my direct debits and I pay my car monthly aswell. Plus I earn around £24,000 a year and still got declined so I don’t really have an option other to save right now 🙁 xx

I couldn’t wait for mine so used my student loan for the deposit and got the rest on the 0% finance from MYA. My op is 4 weeks today eek! So excited x

@jlst Do they credit check you for doing the 0% Apr option, is it the same finance form you fill in? X

I think so Jessica since they declined mine after a day of me waiting to find out, but I was in my overdraft at that point so I wasn’t surprised! So I typed in my boyfriend’s details and it was accepted within seconds which was good! xx
