Numb nipples?!

4 and a half weeks post op now and still can’t feel the bottom of my boob or my nipples at all.. I don’t really mind too much if they stay numb it’s not the end of the world but anyone else still numb round about now?! Xxx

mine are the same hun, i think they take time to come back xxx

I’m just over 7 weeks post op , my left boob boob is still numb , my right boob has feeling but is very sensitive . It can take up to a year for feelings to return to our boobs … Just have to be patient

Thanks girls! I can’t imagine wearing a proper bra coz I can’t even feel where they’re at haha! So much patience is needed in this boob life! Xxx

I’m two weeks post op and I can’t feel mine either lol and there very swollen still xxx

Ahh itl soon go Hun 🙂 mine were swollen up until about 2-3 weeks. I have noticed my nipples seem LOADS smaller now too but maybe they’re just actually in proportion haha! How’s your recovery going @megzz123 Xxx

@aimeemx my recovery the first week was very painful but when I got strapping of it was fine! Just the nipples are main concern at the moment there still quite big but not as big as they was when strapping came of Lool xx how is yours going what size did u get

Hey Aimee. I am a year post op and there are still a few areas between my nipple and the scar that I can’t feel so I don’t know if it will stay like this forever but it’s definite proof that it takes a long time for the nerves to heal. Hope you’re recovery has gone well and that you love your new assets 😀 xx

Isn’t it funny I’m the complete opposite I have so much more feeling in my nipples than I did before like any little touch or brush of my arm on them it’s crazy how everyone really is so different xx

I used to have so much feeling in them even when my surgeon drew on me I couldn’t stand still coz it tickled haha! Least I know it might come back in the distant future! My recovery has been really smooth actually thanks Megan I think I’ve been quite lucky! Xxx
