Numb tongue

Hi girls,

I’m looking for reassurance and wondering if anyone has experience anything similar to me as it’s beginning to worry me now.

I had my surgery on Saturday (22nd June) and since waking up from surgery the right side of my tongue has been numb.

The feeling still hasn’t gone away:(

Has anyone else had this after their surgery?

Not for boobs but a previous OP under general I also had this and panicked my arse off! I think the tube had been maybe resting on tongue during and I know that while I was asleep I apparently had had a bit of a choke on it so maybe its placement? Not a clue to this day but mine did fade it was there a good week or so tho! Hope your OP went well! X

Thank you! Honestly that has put my mind at rest as it still hasn’t gone away and I was beginning to panic that I’d be left with a numb tongue for the rest of my life haha.
