numb tongue after anaesthetic

Really odd but I’m 2dpo and the right side of my tongue is numb, like I’ve lost feeling in it. When I woke from anaesthetic my whole tongue felt like it but gained feeling back on the left side, but still can’t feel my right side. Doc said possible side effect of the anaesthetic and to go to the doctor if it carries on, just wondered if anyone else had had this?
