Numbness/return of feeling – 6 months post op

Hi Girls,

I’m 6 months post op and one of my breasts is still almost completely numb (bit of sensation at the top of my chest but that’s it). The other is fine and so just wondering if anyone is/has experienced the same thing and if/ when the feeling returned? Plus if you did anything to improve like massage etc?

Hi hun, I know that this can be common after a BA so I wouldn’t worry too much. I’m not sure how long this can continue for. Maybe you should call Mya and speak to a nurse xx

Hi hun i had numbness from day 1.. it was all across the bottom section of my boobs like below the nipple.. mine did improve over the months but at 8 months post op i still have some numbness.. they say it can take a year to get the feeling back but sometimes u never regain full feeling.. i think im guna be stuck with a little bit of numbness but it doesnt bother me at all the only time i remember it is when i put cream on them and check it.. its all to do with ur nerves i dont think massage will help it much.. but urs should improve with a bit more time.. its slow progress hun u have to be patient x
