My admission was 9am today and I was second on the list!! I went down into theatre about 10.45 & it was so much better than I could have ever imagined!!
I was so scared of having the cannula in my hand but I didn’t even feel it go in, just a tiny tiny pinch. There were two anaesthetist’ and they were chatting to me about holidays and all sorts and all I remember is going into a little snooze.
I woke up super confused and drowsy and was talking absolute rubbish and then was giggling like a weirdo because the lady with me was called Daisy and apparently rhyming names is hilarious to me haha.
I’m not in “pain” more just like a very dull aching/heavy feeling. My arms are useless and getting up isn’t easy but once I’m up I’m okay!
I went with 425cc unders and it’s not as bad as imagined what so ever. They look super perky and my cleavage looks fabulous considering I had none whatsoever before hand!!
I know everyone’s different and there’s been some scarier post op stories but I honestly feel if you’re realistic and well prepared about what you’re doing you’ll be okay after. I would sum it up by saying it’s not pleasant but it’s manageable.
Here’s to having boobs xxx
Congratulations on your new boobs!!! So nice to hear a positive story after surgery! Hope your healing process continues to be positive! Xx
It’s really good to read positive stories as I know pretty much everyone is super nervous before surgery, I also dread to think what I would have been babbling about in the recovery room because it all seemed like a dream!
Happy New Boob Day :)! Wishing you a speedy recovery! Xx
Congrats on your new boobs! Nice to read a positive story.
Thank you much girls!!! @sunshine534 @natbap xxx
Aww congratulations lovely!! So nice to read good experiences. Happy boob day and I hope you recover well! Xxxx
@sophiejayne95 thank you Hun! Hope you’re doing well too, how are you feeling? Xxx
Feel better reading this as my op is on Wednesday!! hope you have an easy recovery x
@jemmao thank you babe. Good luck with your op!! Xx
Congrats! Made me smile imagining you being giggly.. i bet that will be me! Haha.
My surgeon said it would feel like that.. heavy abd more of an ache than pain. He said he puts a local anesthetic in too so not just general. He said i must keep taking the pain relief and not have a gap as it will build up a barrier for the pain and if it breaks its like starting again and then i could feel in more pain.
Thanks for the positive post! Ive got just over 8 weeks until mine but im super excited x x x
@kitcat81 hahha I hope you do! Although I was drowsy I was actually super happy when I woke up, if you go in positive I defo think you’ll wake up in a better mood!
& yeah that’s pretty much what I’ve been told, the worst I’ve felt so far is the first time I got out of bed because I just had no idea how! But it’s complete bearable once you’re up and down a few times!
Good luck with your op!! Keep me updated on how you get on 🙂 xxx
@maisiekarim I’m good thanks lovely, I’m a week post op now and they’re getting better by the day! How are you doing now? X

@sophiejayne95 ah I’m very jealous!! I’m okay, slept properly more or less last night so I’ve woke up feeling less like a zombie! I’ve got a breast band though and I already want it off!!
@jadeb I also had my op on the 22nd! I didn’t sleep at all the first night but I think I was so tired that I more or less slept straight through lastnight! Did you go under or over? Xxx
I went over Hun but the pain is real! I’m ok if I’m not moving they are aching but when I stand up it hurts and my insisions have stabbing/burning pain I think just all healing and that really x
