Oh no.. here comes the pain!!

So I only got out of surgery at 10pm last night but I felt so good. I mean yes I was so high on the drugs ha ha but I think I got a bit optimistic. I had no pain what’s so ever. Only had tightness and it was uncomfortable. I’ve woken up 6 times in the night each time feeling tighter and with a real back ache also. I asked the nurse twice for more painkillers – the second time something stronger as I didn’t think I could do through the night without it. I’ve woken up now however with real pain, not just tightness. I can feel it in my left incision and across the side of my boobs. I know it’s completely normal I’ve just had an uplift and implants but I’ve got to be driven home today and I’m dreading it. I also don’t think I’m going to be able to get out of bed if I try to shift just a tiny bit I feel like my incisions are going to burst open. Oh god girls, how long can this expect to last? I know they say day 2 is worse than day 1 but please tell me it will start easing off again by day 3? 🙁 x

Babe thats exactly how i feel.. im litrally stuck in my bed i cant get up ???? Just took painkillers so will try when they kick in. The drive home was ok for me just i was really sick but i think you will be fine. Its the left side of my boob what really hurts and i feel so stiff xxx

So weird! Guess it’s all just part of the healing process how long did the drive home take you? I’m hoping mine will only be an hour and a half or so. It wa my left boobs really hurting this morning too. My ribs on my right hand side feel battered and bruised. It’s really weird. I also think I can feel bloody dripping out where my drain is but I can’t move to look. I’m a right state ha ha. All be worth it though babes, we just need to keep telling ourselves that! Xx

Hang on in there, the pain will get easier as the time goes on. I hope your journey home is okay, when you get back, get into bed and rest as much as you can. Take it really easy and keep on top of your pain killers. By next week you will feel much better xx

Hey becki! Thanks babes, I’m starting to feel better from the tramadol and morphine! Lol. Just didn’t want to be in so much pain for the hour and a half car journey home but I think I should be ok. I’m just shattered as I didn’t sleep last night but I don’t want to nap today as I want to try and get a good nights sleep tonight. But I plan on getting straight in bed and keeping on top of my meds like you say. Thank you 🙂 when did you have your op? What implants did you have and how are you now feeling? Xx

It took About 2.5hrs babe wasnt really any traffic.. not sure how far your travelling but it was 134 miles for me. I had to be sick on the hard shoulder ???? Maybe take a sick bowl just in case i should of though about that lol! Im a mess babe too ha
I think you will feel bit better when drains are out because that was part of the pain too. Xxx

Oh god milly. I feel for you babes. That sounds awful!! I only had about an hour in the car – no traffic at all either so got home so quickly. I got discharged about 11.30am. I had been given more morphine before I left so I was feeling absolutely fine, just shattered from no sleep last night. So actually nodded off in the car home. I’m in bed now resting up, my chest is so tight and uncomfortable now but thankfully nothing unbareable. Then again, I did only get out of surgery at 10pm last night so I think painwise ive been lucky. Just hope it doesn’t get any worse. I was dreading the drains but I actually didn’t feel them at all when the nurse took them out lol. Although one had been leaking where I’d nudged it in the night so I think I must have pulled half of one out myself lol.

Do you have strapping?! I have, I’ve got to wait another week to see my results and I’m so bloody excited. Want the week to hurry up so bad!! Ha ha. Xx

Hey up hun x I hope u will feel better soon. They took me today 11.30 and last time I’ve remembered was 11.50. I was back in room at 1Pm. I’ve got boobies :). No strapping on lol just a band. I feel tight on my chest and had some morphine. I will try upload pic as we got similar implant size, I’ve just been a 34a to start off. U been so brave 🙂 I was thinking about you yesterday and this morning, hoping I will be though like u hehe :). Thank you so much for your posts. They did helped me understand procedure.
Milly I hope you will feel much better soon. It must been a bit of a nightmare for u. I’m from Birmingham, so long way for me. They will discharge me after 5 so loads of traffic I bet. Happy healing my cheeks xxx We got boobies :)))

Hey honey!!! I was thinking about you this morning! How are you doing?! I was discharged around 11.30 so just as you were going down for your op how exciting!! Hope your journey home isn’t too horrible or long for you lovely, you should be ok pain wise I was feeling fantastic when I came round last night ha ha. Didn’t get out of theatre until 10.30pm! Just make sure you stay on top of your meds Hun, my pain has gone now thankfully I’m just back to feeling tight, achy and boobs feel reaaaaaally heavy. But it’s bareable. Hi babes x I was quite good with pain yesterday hehe traveling home was a bit nightmare cause I was just tired and wanted to have a good sleep in my bed. I been waking up at night but feel comfortable:) and hungry lol How you doing sweety? Xxx
