Hi i am now 8 days post opp and i have had the strapping off , i am now on no pain killers apart from iburfin and i am still in so much pain that its getting me down ,
My left boob the bigger one is really painful i can’t touch it at all , and my right boob feels like its dragging on the floor it feels ok when i am sitting down but when i walk or move my arm it really hurts ,the only way i can describe it is that i have a really bad stitch and when i breath it really hurts and feels like a bubble of air behind it and when i breath it feels like it wants to pop ,
If that makes sense ,
I can’t believe i still feel this bad , i didn’t sleep last night because my stomach is in so much pain , and can’t do much round the house still as my boobs still hurt
IS this right ?????
Should i be in this much pain ???
Does your boobs feel bruised and painful to touch ??
Really worried now
Love Natalie
mine are still tight and feel bruised, coz the damage will be internal too dont forget. im not on co-codamol anymore and thought i was in less pain today but my sternum feels so bruised and tender. just gotta be patient and keep taking it easy as we have had a major operation. im back to work on friday and come this time of day im knocked out! god knows how im going to manage my late shifts!! maybe start back on some paracetamol @natstar xxx
I think i need a whole day in bed , i wish , i should be at work tomorrow and these no way i can go in , i am use to be so active this is so hard feeling ill for 8 days i am so looking forward to feeling normal and having a glass of wine xx
don’t put so much pressure on yourself to get better or your gonna prolong your recovery from getting stressed and irritated. just takes things slow and easy, it is gonna take a bit to recover, its gonna take time. you’ve had a major operation. i know its frustrating but just have to go easy xx
Mine still feel bruised to touch and feel heavy when I get up. My left boob was more swollen and very painful! I’ve just been really resting. Trying not to move my left arm too much and putting ice in it and it’s much less painful and much softer now.
Try taking arnica tablets that’s meant reduce swelling and bruising. And really take it easy. Everyone will heal differently so don’t panic just make sure you’re well looked after xxx
I think it’s normal Nat? I woke up today and when I got outta bed it felt like my implant was gonna fall out I felt it move downwards? I’ve had a bubbling sensation in my right boob since my op and have a weird sensation when I move my right arm! I keep getting told off for doing so much as its still early days! Plus I’ve still got all my strapping on, I’m gonna be scared for it to come off at this rate? xx
Hun 8 days isnt a long time it will get better just give it time and rest as much as you can.
Im 6 weeks post op and mine are still a bit tender especially by my scars.
Rest alot and if its too bad try taking paracetamol and nurofen i found that really helped with pain if it got bad x
It’s all normal just take it easy as much as you can. I’m more swollen, bruised and sore than I was yesterday and my boobs feel so heavy wen I stand up they push on my incisions and hurt so much. Drink plenty, especially pineapple juice and most importantly don’t stress out about it. You will soon be able to enjoy your lush New boobs and show them off and all this pain will be a distant memory and all worthwhile…xxx
