Once swelling goes….

Hey,
Do your boobs actually get smaller once the swelling goes down or does the implant gradually expand and they take a more natural shape? Read lots of things and don’t really know what the truth is…? 10 days post op now and the swelling is slowly going but my boobs look smaller… X

The implant doesn’t expand if that was the case they will just have expandable implants such as they do have theses for reconstruction breast cancer surviving patients…
Anyway the swelling is the surrounding tissue and build up of fluid just as you would bump your head etc and the area gets inflamed that’s exactly the same the implant itself stays the same but the skin does stretch and loosen which gives the appearance and feel of a more natural looking breast and fuller…
Expect many changes you are very early stages post op and congrats on your new boobs x
