Im so worried, ones more big and round than the other? Im 9days post op and just thought they wouldnt still be this swollen its liturally not changed where as the other isnt swollen at all its fine, but the swollen one has had a big bruise down the side since the op? Will the swelling definately go? Xx
Hi Stacey
If it is indeed swelling then yes it will go down but I think you should check with a nurse that there isn’t a build up of fluid.
Try not to worry too much and get them checked out xx
Hey Hun!
I’m similar to you! My right ones a lot more swollen but I’m right handed so probably to do with that!
They should even out as the other one relaxes
Xx
I dont see a nurse till next thursday now, I just wish they were both the same, I hate looking at them while ones bigger than the other and it doesnt feel like mine of that makes sense? Where as the other feels so comfortable and like mine. What happens if there is fluid therehow would they tell? She felt them today and didnt say anything about the bruise or fluid but there could be fluid in there cause it was that boob that made a squeeking sound whenever I moved my arm after I had it done but I think she would of said about fluid today surely? Xx
Yes I’m sure she would have said if she thought you had a build up of fluid. It’s probably swelling then honey…they’ll be matching soon 🙂 xx
@staceeystubb it’s normal hun, if it wasn’t right the nurse would have said something. When the nurse removed my strapping she even said not to worry or look too much at my boobs as they won’t be even just yet, it’s all part of healing process! I’m 2 weeks post op and my right one has only recently become bigger. Try not to worry babe but if it still bothers you give your nurse a call xxx
The bruise just makes me worry cause its quite clearly blood under there 🙁 just hope it is just swelling and hope it evens out, im just so impatient haha xx
Think about how long it takes for bruise to go away let’s say from your leg or thigh! Mine take at least 2 or 3 weeks so it’s only normal to still have it there. Is it painful wheb you touch it? Does it feel like fluid there?xxx
@staceystubbings I’m the same hun. Saw nurse on Monday and she said with the obvious bruising on one and not on other it’s clear that one went through more trauma during surgery than the other. It.just takes time for swelling to come down. Technically 2 Separate ops isn’t it. Add me and check my pics you can see the difference in size and bruise xxx
@kikij87 yeah I guess thats true, they do take about 2-3 weeks to go on me too, its not really painful where the bruise is just feels the same as the rest of the boob, it doesnt feel like liquid it feels quite hard where it is xx
@freya-pops ive added u hun, yeah I guess thats true, I just over worry about things I just need keep telling my self that if something wasnt right or didnt look right the nurse would of said today, hopefully by the time I go next week it will be less swollen hopefully 🙂 xxx
i know it’s worrying isn’t it. We just have to stay positive. I was told to.use ice packs to try reduce the swelling and arnica tablets supposed to help too xxx
@staceeystubb just keep an eye on it and if it still bothers give the nurse a ring! I know how annoying it is as all we want is nice pair of boobs straight away but it takes a bit of time so hang in there babe!xxx
@freya-pops I swear by arnica tablets, took mine a week before op and week after and I’ve not had any bruises & the swelling went after I had the strapoing removed. I have taken them for swelling before and they have always helped xxx
Where do u get arnica tablets from? I might give them ago with some ice packs 🙂 thanks for making me feel better aswell girls xxx
You can get the 6c and 30c In Holland and Barratt but I’ve just been reccomended 200c which is a higher dosage so I’ve bought some.of them on Amazon. Anything is worth a try right?? Xxx
