One week post op check

Well off to have my one week post op check later today. Hoping everything is ok. If my incisions are healing nicely, will that mean I can have a shower? Xx

At my 1 week check one of my incisions was a bit scabby (ewww) but she put a water proof dressing on so I could still shower. Good luck and make sure you wear a really supportive sports bra as I felt like my boobs were going to drop off when the dressing come off till I put my macom bra back on lol xx

A www good luck to you too @pinkbutterfly. and thanks Sarah. I’ve noticed mine are a bit achey if I take a while between changing bras. Must be because we’re still healing. Fingers crossed everything is ok. I actually find the sports bras quite comfy and will probably still wear them for work. Keep the sexy stuff for my man and to feel nice when I’m going out xx

I’ve just got back and all looks well the nurse has said! I got the all clear to have a shower 🙂
I even got the hubby to pull over so I could drive the last 5 mins home 🙂
I also love my Macom.. So comfy!!
Do your boobs feel really tight in the morning??

Yay. Congrats @pinkbutterfly. Me too but I have got some waterproof dressings on for a few days. Everything healing nicely. And yeah my boobs do feel tight in the morning, a little achey. Think it must be because we’re lay down and not moving much. That’s fab that you drove too. I’m Heading out on my own tomorrow. Be good to get back to normality. Xx

Its reassuring that others have experienced the same.. its so uncomfy like they’re contracting! I assume that its the ‘morning boob’ ive been reading about.

Hahaha like that…..morning boob. One of my friends had her boobs done about four weeks ago and she said she feels the same in the morning. Mine are hurting this morning but I’m due on and always get tender boobs then. Oh the joys lol. And it is reassuring when someone else has experienced the same things as you. Hope you’re feeling good today Hun xx
