Op booked! Help please!

Ok so I’ve booked today with Mr Marcellino and I feel like I need all the advice I can get. My mind went totally blank today at appointment! My ops on 23 days. So I need some advice on sports bras, v pillows, and anything else needed for op day/post op. Also so I need to remove acrylic nails? Avoid gym and alcohol prior to op? So many questions!!

Congratulations on booking your op!
Hopefully I can help with a few of your questions:

Bras: m&s high impact sports bras are widely used but go up a back size as they tend to come up small. Macom bras are also a very popular choice and are the easiest as you only have to pick your current band size (discount code MYA) I have heard MYA also have postop bras which several girls have said are really comfy.

V pillow: Argos sell one (currently on offer 2 for £15) some people have said 2 are better than one. You can also find well priced ones on amazon and in other stores like Wilko for around £8.

It’s a good idea to get some ice packs to help with swelling and if you choose to, you can take Arnica 30c for 3 days pre & post op to help aid recovery.

You must remove all nail varnish and acrylics as well as all piercings.

Alcohol should not be consumed for 5 days pre-op.

You should also not use any aspirin or ibuprofen from now until your surgery.

Hi Carly I haven’t had my pre op yet so would be nice to find out what to do and what’s need aswell… did they say you can’t have acrylics? What about shellac on toes? I new about the no smoking before op I didn’t know about gym and alcohol. Just realised your the same day as me what hospital? Who’s your surgeon? Sorry for all the questions lol xx

Hey havent had nine done yet sophie but no nails what so ever no type at all :/ not even nail varnish ‘
No make up on the day
No perfume or deodrant
No false lashes
All has to be removed and to shower night before in zero shower gel x

Also no fake tan x

@soph1887 hi Hun I’m in London with Mr Marcellino, what about you? I haven’t had my pre op yet it’s on Tuesday so I’m assuming they’ll tell me then but from what I’ve heard no acrylics or shellac or even nail vanish! Some people have said no alcohol 48hours before and some have said 5days so I’m not 100% sure. Hope your op goes well 🙂 xx

@soph1887 we certainly do! Haha! I’m travelling from Cardiff to London and driving home the same night depending on my admission time! God help me lol my partners refusing to spend a penny more on boobs haha! Good luck to you too lovely x
