Op completed!

I just want everyone to know, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

When I arrived I was shown to my room, my admission time was 11am. I had the routine OBs done, and my chest listened to. The nurse I had was bloody lovely! I couldn’t have felt more at ease with her! Dr Traynor came in and drew all over me in sharpie, he was lovely but still very blunt! I went for my op at 1 and came out at half 2. Honestly I felt fine afterwards a little sleepy but fine! The discomfort level was manageable! Sara the nurse came back and helped me, gave me water to drink! I had routine 30 mins checks, which made me felt double at ease! They are so attentive at the Preston first trust, they helped me to the toilet. Then they brought me a biscuit before my sandwich, which may I add was gorgeous! DR Traynor came back, he was so lovely, asked me if I liked my sandwich and how I liked my boobs and if they were big enough! Which they are I adore them!!

It is one of the best experiences I have ever had and I’m so glad I followed through with a decision I wanted for years. I was so excited and nervous but everyone one there are lovely and so calming!

I’m back home now with little to no pain, the joys of overs! But if anyone is thinking about having them done do it! Best decision I’ve ever made!

@naomilydia I had 450cc HP Overs. And i’m not actually too sure why they never said anything to me, but i did look at my heart rate sheet and whilst in theatre my heart rate dropped to 53. But they never mentioned it to me it was my friend who told me how long I had been in. And I just kinda thought you don’t see many post which are scaremongering! And I was made to feel so relaxed and the staff were so attentive every half an hour bang on i had someone come in! x

Hi Michelle. Glad your feeling well! Such a good feeling when you’ve had them done isn’t it. I couldn’t stop smiling after. I had mine done last wed at Preston with mr traynor too. I had 450cc overs as well. I just added you as a friend hope that’s ok. Xxx

@manda-b86 Hey Amanda no that’s absolutely fine! I’m so happy with them! I managed to upload my photos to my profile! I’m so happy with them, I’m not really having much pain with them, kinda only when I move I get some discomfort but I’m having to sleep on a sofa so I can sleep upright! But I’m just so happy I have them done now! I need to get my nipple piercings back in but I may try that tomorrow! Xxx

@michelleannconnolly Yeah I had a little nosey. They look fab. We r so similar stats. I was the same not much pain for first few days jus a few aches every now and then. I’m on th sofa too. It’s easier and I’m not keeping my partner up. I seen the nurse tday and asked about my piercings as I hadn’t put mine in and she said I could pop them back in as soon as I felt up to it…they were in as soon as got home haha. Didnt want them closing up! Xxx

@manda-b86 Thank you! We are I did have a little nosey at your profile too! And it kinda hurts my ribs a little bit my bra is a little tight! And it’s kinda an awkward position to sleep in! I don’t want to slip down or turn to the side as my brother has a curved sofa! And I’m gonna do mine tomorrow I think, I’m getting the rest of my piercings back in tomorrow! I’m just so happy with how they’ve turned out! As soon as I woke up I was like I know they’re done my left boob is hurting a little and the nurse showed me them and I fell in love straight away!! Xxx

Yeah sleeping is a pain. Although it’s not for too long and it’s definitely got to be worth it to have amazing boobs 🙂
Nurse told me 2 weeks upright 4 weeks flat then however you want. Keep us updated how you get on xxx

@manda-b86 I’m in agony this morning but I think I slept really weird! And I can’t wait for them to be all healed! I’m a little concerned about my right one only because it’s turning to the right a little the bra is helping. And I will do lovely! You too xxx

@naomilydia there is so much scaremongering on here I had to stop coming on for a week before my op! I was panicking over little things. But honestly you’ll love it! I can move my arms atm but not too high as it hurts a little x

Keep on top of your pain meds Michelle every 2 hours. It definitely helped me. And sleep as much as you can lots of naps lol. Yeah the bras hurt at first but as swelling goes down they seem more bearable. Which one are you wearing? I feel pretty normal now after a week. Off to get my hair washed n nails done now 🙂 xxx

I’m so glad people put posts like this on, I go in next week and this has been so reassuring to read! It is very exciting the thought of having new boobies soon but it’s still an operation at the end of the day! Thank you for sharing and happy healing 🙂 xx

@manda-b86 oh I have been doing! It’s just like a achy pain, but it’s more like a discomfort! Oh I’m so tired last night wasn’t too bad but kept waking up every two hours! I just want to take it off at the moment to air my boobs a little cause they feel so warm! I’ve got the MYA one on at the moment. Oh I can’t wait to get my nails again!! And my hair blow dried! Xxx

@michelleannconnolly i keep taking mine off for a few minutes more so can have a look at them. I can’t stop touching them haha. My stitches r so itchy it’s unreal. Hair n nails done n I feel like a new woman. Love your underboob tattoo btw. First tattoo I’m gettin when they’re healed and I’m allowed xxx

@manda-b86 I’ve untightened mine because it’s so tight it’s digging in my incision and causing me so much pain! But I’m gonna take it off for a little bit later on. And I’m the same I keep touching the tops of them and cupping them ???? And same here my left incision is ridiculously itchy right now! My right side I have zero pain or discomfort right now! And I want to book mine but it’s persuading my brother to drive me ???? And thank you! I had it done in may before my second consultation! And I love it it’s so dainty and me! I won’t lie it is painful inbetween your boobs but only in one certain spot! My tattooist did it in dots because dots heal a lot quicker than lines xxx

Thanks for the tip. I think I’ll be having dots then! I haven’t quite decided what I fancy yet. Yep I was cupping mine walking along the street it feels so weird n then I was like shit people can see you holding your boobs stop haha.

@manda-b86 you’re welcome! I had a tattoo on my arm done last Wednesday and it was healed within two days! It’s a lot less painful too having dots. And I keep cupping mine, everyone was looking at me dead strange! I’m hoping they’ll get a little closer together as they’re so far apart at the moment! And thank you so much for the reasurance I was a little scared it wasn’t normal cause my left is so painful! Thank you! I can’t wait for this itchiness to subside! Xxx

Hi Michelle, your boobs look fab. I cant seem to private message you. Can I ask why you went for overs? Ive had 2 consultations 1 with Mya and 1 with hospital group, the surgeon at Mya said overs and hospital group said unders. Now im really confused as to what to go for. Ive read pros and cons for both but still cant decide. I want them to look as natural as possible x

@laura30 thank you, and Dr Traynor said over because I had enough breast tissue for over. Dr Traynor only does natural looking boobs, apparently they’re less pain than unders. I am only got a little discomfort when I walk but when I’m sat down they’re okay. It hurts to move my arms but if I let them sit still they’d go stiff so I’m trying to keep moving as much as I can! But I was recommended overs by Dr Traynor x

yeh thats what my surgeon said about having enough breast tissue so she suggested overs. Did you have consultations with any other company? x

@laura30 I didn’t no, I just went straight to mya. But I’d trust there opinion, Dr Traynor was really good with me. But I wouldn’t worry too much, overs don’t really drop and fluff as much as unders but I’m glad I had overs though. But you could ask to see your surgeon again and have a talk about all the opinions and what she’d recommend the most for you x
