I had my op today, was out for 11 o’clock this morning. But ever since I have constantly felt silk. i was sick twice in there and then as I walked to the car. It took me ages to have a wee so I didn’t leave til 4 o’clock. And I’ve only just now had another wee since. Is this normal? X

Remember you probably could drink fluids for a while plus being sick takes the fluid out of you so probably not needed to wee and it was the same for me. Being ill could just be side of effects if medication and being under anesethic as body as gone through so much x

Yeah Hun everyone’s body reacts differently to the anestetic. I was dizzy/light headed and felt sick every time I got out of bed up until about 9pm at night and I had surgery about 11am. It’s a big thing for your body to go through you will feel better once it’s out your system xxx

Thanks for your replies ladies. Just feeling like shit at the minute. Just walked upstairs to get into bed and was sick again. Not been able to eat anything today either. I’ve just been asleep all day as I just feel sick and dizzy. Guess I just have to ride it out and hopefully I have a better day tomorrow xx

Hey, it’s totally normal to be sick – it’s usually a side effect of the anaesthetic so please don’t worry! Also the medication can make you feel quite ill, I felt nauseous, dizzy and could hardly eat until I came off the meds – I kept taking them though as I didn’t want to be in pain! Haha. Hope you feel better soon and happy healing 🙂 xx

Today has been horrible, yesterday I stopped taking the co codamol after I was sick again 15 minutes after taking them. Just swapped to paracetamol instead, I thought I had quite a high pain tolerance.. up until last night I started getting a lot of pains in my left side. Found it so hard to adjust in bed and get comfortable… found it a bit painful and Tight today but still managed to walk around just a little bit. Mostly to and from the bathroom! Very tender underneath my boobs, and on top as well and then just mostly the left side. Even though I’m right handed! Hopefully today’s the worst day for me. Had a little cry earlier! Thank you for asking though xx

@avaell11 feeling much better today. Did wake up at 6 this morning in a bit of pain and struggled getting out of bed to go toilet. But today there’s only a bit of pain, I’m moving around and everything okay. How you feeling after your surgery? X
