Hey girls,
So I’ve done all my post op shopping apart from the outfit to wear the day of my op.. I have no idea what I’m supposed to wear so any help would be greatly appreciated ?xx
I just wore some joggers and got some of the thin strap vests from primark got them a size bigger so I could step into them their only like £2 x
Hi hunny had my op today!!! Just wore loose light denim button dress and took some spa slippers ha!!! Take some mags you’ll be fine, good luck xx
@annamac793 hey! Happy first boobie day! How did your op go? Hope you’re having a good recovery so far. Need to get myself some lose clothing as my clothes aren’t very lose haha. Stocking up the mags already ? thank you xx
Awww yeah loose is good hunny!! I wasn’t prepared I’m the least organised person I know ha!!! It went well hunny was so nervous but was made to feel totally relaxed, Dr mounir was amazing and although tight and sore I feel OK!!!! Dreading sleeping upright but hoping the codeine might knock me out haha!!! Keep me posted how you get on hun, what size are you having? Xx
@annamac793 I’m the complete opposite, too organised! Think I’d rather be a little unorganised haha. Did you have unders or overs? I’ve heard great things about Dr Mounir! Can’t wait to see your results. I’m torn between 350/375cc overs but I messaged my pc and told her to order the 375cc-425cc (one breast will need 25-50cc more). So excited to see my results but also nervous. Sleeping sounds like a massive pain, hope you get a good night sleep! Xx
I also had my op yesterday (27th) and bought a scoop next primark tshirt just a size bigger than I usually wear and a zip up hoodie, so if for any reason the tshirt dosent fit or I’m having trouble getting it on I can put the hoodie over my Macom and zip it up!
I’m always a bit In between sizes with jeans so I wore the bigger size I usually have here and if I can’t get them on (just incase I get some swelling all over) I’ve got my fiances Ralph pj bottoms I can pull on. And I’ve worn my normal trainers but if they’re hassle to get on I’ve got my uggs too. So I have lots of options but be been feeling great afterwards, no pain at all (though I’m on morphine so some of it is probably masked) so I’m sure I’ll be able to get the tshirt and jeans on. I had 300cc overs and I think the main reason I’m feeling so well is because they’re overs and don’t hurt as much xxx
@vickiwalton I’ve read somewhere that it says the bacterial stuff they put on you during surgery can stain your clothes? I’ve now got a pretty good idea on what to wear for afterwards but don’t want my top to be strained.. Would leggings be okay to wear do you think? I was thinking just my converses as well. I’m also having overs so shouldn’t struggle too much just don’t want to take my outfit and not be able to put it back on ?. How did your op go? I might take backup clothes just in case xxx
@amber well you’re wearing a hospital gown whilst you’re having the op so the iodine stains that and the bed! I have waterproof dressings so was able to have a shower this morning once my drains were out which I wasn’t expecting. You’ll be fine with leggings, anything that’s comfy and with overs I’m sure you won’t have too much of a problem. I thought I wouldn’t be able to move my arms but I can move them up and down no problem I just have to be careful. Only thing that’s hurt so far is opening and shutting the car door on the way home xx
