My op day has finally come round tomorrow! My admission time is 3 so was just wondering how long people ended up being there? I’ll be getting picked up and thought I’d be there for like 8 hours so it would end up being quite late!
Hi 🙂 is yours a night slot having such a late admission time? I got there for 12 mine was a night slot, by 4.30 I was back in my room and at 6.30 they actually let me go home cos I didn’t really want to stay over. But I do know they can let you go the same day any time up until 8.30-9pm at the Preston hospital xxx
No it’s only meant to be a day case at Preston @lhea! Yea that’s what I thought! Unless I’m just gonna get there and go for the op pretty soon coz they always wanna keep people for a few hours after don’t they. I thought it was a really strange time, hope I don’t have to stay in!x
It went fab thank you, I left at 8 in the end so it was great, everything went really quick! Struggling a bit with the pain today and sleeping on my back is reaaaally difficult! How are you feeling now? When did your pain start getting better?! Xx
Aww that’s not bad 🙂 and yeah the second day was when the pain got bad for me and the couple of days after that were a struggle but then each day got better for me 🙂 also sleeping on my back is killing me!! I slept 45 degrees angle for the first 5 nights then since then I’ve slept flat on my back and been fine. I’m day 8 now and still in a bit of pain but nothing bad, I drove yesterday and think it’s made me worse to be honest ? just make sure you don’t rush yourself to do anything take things easy 🙂 xxx
