Op done today :) Uplift no implants with slight reduction

Well it’s all done! My admission was 8am and I went to theatre at half 11 – I was 2nd on the list.
Feeling really tired at the moment, I keep nodding off! Not in too much pain either, had some painkillers about an hour and half ago, just feeling a bit tight at the minute. The nurse had just come in and put my Macom bra on, feeling very secure!!

Unfortunately I do have drains in my right breast 🙁 not looking forward to that coming out in the morning.. It’s not a major pain being in though.
Everyone at First Trust Preston are brilliant. The nurses and doctors are lovely, they are always checking to see how I am 🙂

I was terrified this morning and now I don’t know why I worried so much! It’s been great so far, even if it is just a few hours later.. 🙂

Hi grace, I am booked in on Thursday for a breast uplift with no implants at preston. Who was your surgeon? It’s good to hear about your experience, glad it went OK, why did you have to have a drain put in? Xxx

I had Dr Andrea, he’s lovely!! The place is so nice as well, everyone is so friendly 🙂 I have no idea why I have the drain in to be fair, it’s only the boob that I had the slight reduction so I think it’s just stopping the fluid build up, it gets taken out in the morning but after a people saying it’s not the nicest experience, I’m really dreading it!!

I’ve been awake since about 3am, very tired but can’t seem to sleep, even though I had a sleeping tablet at about 11. No pain though so not sure why I’m awake…

I was the same!! You will be absolutely fine ☺️ I’m just aching a lot, keeping up to my pain killers every 4 hours just so I don’t start with any pain!! Hope it all goes well x

Hi grace, had my uplift yesterday. Just back home Today, am in quite a lot of pain just been keeping up with painkillers but not really doing much. I have gave got constant hiccups. Everyone was lovely at the first trust hospital, Mr Monuir was great and funny. I am so please with the result.. My breast look like they have implants in. So happy. Hope your OK xxx
