Op in the am… Nail varnish!? Helppp

So tomorrow is finally the day!! 8am admission.. 265 trf with Mr Fallahdar. I know I can’t moisturise, wear deodorant etc but does any one know if it’s ok for me to wear nail polish? I know it sounds stupid but I really don’t want anything to jeopardise it!!!

Also wanted to say thank you to all the girls on here!! Even though we don’t actually know each other I feel like I’ve met some really great people!! Thanks to all the girls who answered my questions, shared their stories & let me see their pictures! Hopefully i’ll be able to do the same soon!! xxx

That’s a definite no no Hun, make sure you don’t have any on your finger nails or toe nails, they need to be able to see the colour of nails properly Incase of complications during the op xx

My nail technician advised me to find out which finger they put the pulse thingy-me-jig on (sorry don’t know what it’s called) and she’s just file my gel off that nail and pop it straight back on after the op? Hope this helps x

@kirsty thanks bbe @dolly thank u! Well excited, aww good luck, hope it goes well @rachaelh thanks bbe, that sounds ideal but the nurse specifically said to take em all off!! So they’ve gone now.. Just painted, really sucks! As soon as I can drive I’m going straight back to the nail shop haha @no018 aww thanks doll!! Xx

Too true… An it friggin hurts removing them…!
It went ok thanks, 10 days post op now… Still achy in chest muscle area but that’s to be expected with unders!
Strapping off an incisions healing nicely!

@leanne soo annoying, ahh yh I had sub musculars so probably going to have a similar healing. All went well not in pain just annoying coz I can’t do much!
