Op in the morning, what do I need?!

So my admission time is 10:30 tomorrow morning and panicking that I’ve forgotten something! In my bag I was planning on packing:

Change of underwear and sports bra

Button up pjs

Slippers and dressing gown

Id

Anything else I need? Eeeek!!

You don’t need much at all sweetie. My operation was this morning at Preston with Dr Mounir. You’ll be in you hospital gown mostly so don’t take too many clothes. Front fastening pjs are a good idea and slippers. It’s nicely warm so you might not need a dressing gown 🙂 Also take things to occupy you as you may be waiting a few hours. I waited 2 hours and it flew by! Are you staying over night? If so, just take toiletries as if you were going away to a hotel on holiday. Baby wipes and moisturiser are helpful too to freshen up and wipe off Dr’s pen marks afterwards. Good luck babe, you’ll be great xxx

Will my boyfriend be able to wait in the same room as me? Or will I be on my own for that time? Starting to feel jittery! Xx

He can wait in your room yeah 🙂 just when you walk to theatre he has to go into a waiting room so they can get your room ready xxxx

He can yes 🙂 my room was ready as soon as I got there, lucky me! We just chilled there for two hours while the surgeon, nurses and aesthetist came and did their thing! They are en suite and have a TV too 🙂 youll be well looked after xxx

Take lip balm my lips were so dry after anaesthetic x
