Op is in 2 weeks ADVICE NEEDED!

Hi guys,

Like most of you I’ve been told not to take my contraceptive pill the week before my surgery. I am on Dianette prescribed to me by my GP and I am really unsure of what to do as I have read some girls continue on their pill pre surgery. My skin is going to be an absolute nightmare if I come off the pill, is it 100% vital to do so?

Mr friend said her surgeon told her to keep taking the pill as its easier to get rid of a blood clot then an unwanted baby lol xx

My nurse told me it wasnt essential it was just advised. I asked as I have the Implant and I’m not getting it cut out of my arm for just one day lol! X
