OP on Friday, ADVISE PLEASE

hi girlies, my op is friday with dr singh at the fitzroy! UTTERLY EXCITED! was wondering i have gel nail polish on my fingers and toes, i remember being told no nail varnish and if gel take one off, but finger nails are transparent and toe nails are red so do i need to?

Hi I had my with mr Singh on the 27th of last month, they are amazing I love them!! Lol you do have to remove any varnish tho I took all mine off, hope it goes well xx

The reason you have to remove all gel nails and nail polish is because your fingernails are a good sign of whether you’re getting enough oxygen.
Quite simply, they turn purple if you’re not, or they’re a nice pink colour if you are 🙂
When you’re under general anaesthetic it’s a super good way for them to keep track of it, along with all the snazzy gadget ways of telling 🙂
