Op on wed!!! Questions,,

Hi girlssss

My op is on Wednesday and I’m feeling massively unprepared! How long will I be in hospital for in total? Also I’ve bought one sports bra, is this all I need to take with me? Also has there been any girls travelling to Preston from Newcastle in the morning of op and if so, how long did it take? Excitedddd xxxx

Just got my admission time … It’s 12pm! What time would I be out of the hosp? Xxx

Depends on how long they want to keep you there for, I heard some people only stay 3 hours – they like to see you can go to the toilet, eat and drink.
My op was late in the day and I went to a large size so they kept me over night (this was arranged before hand). you literally need yourself, a sports bra and clothing that zips up, nothing that has to go over your head! maybe bring like some sweets/fizzy drink i dno whatever comforts you – I had a fizzy drink waiting for me with my boyfriend haha

Hi Ashleigh, are you just a day case? I had my op yesterday. My admission time was half 1 and I think I left the clinic at about half 5/6 ish to come home. I just took the one sports bra although I didn’t need it. They just put my Hoody on for me after the op. Good luck! xxx

Yeah I am Natalie! That’s really good actually, I hope I’m free to go around that time! Also I’m really surprised that you didn’t need your sports bra, what surgeon did you have? Hope everything went well for you xxx

I had local anesthetic so I think you recover quicker. I had Dr Kazzazi, he just tapes you up at the front after. I just put my sports bra on when I got home cause it felt more comfortable with it on. Don’t seem to be in much pain so it’s all good so far 🙂 xxx
