Although I know these things happen I’m just really upset so had to share to see if anyone had similar experiences. I have had nothing but a positive experience until now, 5 days before my op. my breast enlargement was booked for Wednesday 8th November and I received a voicemail on Thursday 2nd in the afternoon telling me I need to call back it’s important. So after work i received no answer and finally when I got in touch on Friday after ringing back lots i was told I had to go to Manchester by 3pm to see my surgeon as the last time i seen him was more than 6 months ago. But it is November and I last seen him in March (so shouldn’t this have been noticed in September?) so I was told I maybe able to see him Tuesday 7th the day before my op, then got a call back on Saturday 4th November telling me my op will have to be postponed to 14 days after me seeing the surgeon. Not only have I booked this specific time off work which is difficult to change last minute as I work with children, but my family members who are coming with me and dropping me off have had to take it off work. I’ve also got a holiday booked for NYE (which should have been 7 weeks P.O) which I will have to cancel as if my op goes ahead on the day it MIGHT be then it will still only have been 5 weeks. So I’m in complete limbo waiting until Monday 6th November for them to call me back and let me know what is happening which should be 2 days before my op. This has been the most stressful few days ever and instead of being the happiest because I’m finally getting something I’ve wanted for so long I’m confused and just so upset. I really hope my op does go ahead on the day they told me it might as I don’t think I can wait any longer/mess Work around 🙁 please let me know if anyone’s had any similar situations as I don’t know how to feel
