Like most others I’ve enjoyed reading other people’s stories and have lived on this forum so going to share mine with you lovely ladies ?
I’m not a mya patient so things may be a tad different! I was a day case in a hospital in Birmingham 2 hours from me, my admission time was 7.30 am and luckily I was first on the list so the nurse was in pretty much straight away taking blood pressure, urine sample, temperature and heart rate- all fine phew! The anaesthasist came and had a chat asked about any medication, just wanted to say I am currently taking Sertraline for my anxiety and the company I was with were fine I didn’t even need a doctors note! Have just seen a lot of girls struggling with cancellations on here 🙁
I was really scared about the anesthetic and walking down to theatre and lying there was daunting but everyone is lovely and before you know it you’re out like a light and then coming round again, I was absolutely chatting breeze for a good 10 minutes haha but I was happy and laughing! My face was itchy so I kept asking him to itch it and asking if he’d given me flees haha for some reason I had glue on my incisions? Anyone else had this? I had been put in my Macom so haven’t had a proper look yet but I plan to tonight! I had 375cc unders from a 34b, the pain has not been bad like I expected it does just feel tight and I can’t dress myself or do things like flush the toilet so having someone with me has helped loads! Also another thing weeing is difficult and I did not realise that this was a side effect haha but I’ve managed to sleep all day and now feeling fine and happy on the sofa, I was discharged at around 4.30! I am so so happy I keep getting waves of excitement that I actually have boobies now ?? it didn’t even feel real until I was actually in theatre, kept thinking something would stop it happening! I will attach before and after photos for you all as I loved seeing people journeys ??
Sorry for the long story hope it was nice to read haha xxx

Mr Payne too! I’ve had motiva too, hoping I like them I want them to look as natural as possible, did you get revision surgery for free and are you preferring them now? Ooo I wonder why he uses glue and not stitches? X

Clairelh- sorry you didn’t like them the first time, glad it’s all sorted for you now though!!

Angie- oh really? What’s the difference between a sedation and ga? I’ve actually been fine like coming round from it and apart from a tight chest feel fine today! How are you getting along? When was your op? X

Sedation you breathe for yourself as you don’t sleep as de p so don’t need pipe down your throat. Not too bad my surgeon puts strapping on but leaves nipples free so been to M&S and bought a bra to cover them as they were rubbing on clothes. Feeling much better today xx
