Op tomorrow!! ?? what do I actually take?

So excited! My admission is 12pm then we’re staying in a hotel overnight so I have a little suitcase packed up with mine and my boyfriends things in. What do I actually need to take into hospital? I don’t really want to be taking my suitcase in lol x

I took toiletries however other than deodrant and a wipe of the face to freshen up after i didnt need them. I took pjs and didnt need them becoz i was in my gown until i went home. Take a dressing gown and slippers to walk to theatre. I took a book etc but the bed was so comfy i watched tv and slept ha. I had lucozade after too but i drank 2 brews a jug of water and toast after and was fine. Good luck xxx

Are we allowed to take drink/snacks for afterwards? On my email I got from MYA said no food or drinks to be taken in, but I was hoping I could for my boyfriends sake ha xxx

Hey kelly. I took food that I didn’t need but my sister and friend ate and nobody told them off! I took a big bag but only needed clothes for going home as just slept and watched TV. I also stayed in my gown over night and they gave me slippers. Good luck tomorrow lovely, let us know how you get on x

My mum took food and hid it in the cupboard haha you really dont need what you think for day case at all. Youll be too busy looking at your boobs and excited to leave when your done anyway x
