I had open septo-rhinoplasty last 5 days ago. I have had a lot of work done, more than i thought, After surgery Dr G said that after he defined my tip my nostrils looked a little flared and so he also reduced them which has left me with a lot of stitching around my nostrils, my nose is constantly running and still getting a little blood out of one side. Its making my stitches really sore, red and inflamed. I they aren’t infected 🙁
Im still using the drip pad as my nose is constantly running and just looks awful, im due back at work tomorrow and cant bare for people to see all my blood and gunk around my nose, tried to get extra time off but they dont seem happy and dont want to loose my job.
Has anyone got any tips for me…
I called nurse but she just told me to use sterile gauze and not touch the stitches but there really sore.
