Operation tomorrow

Hi girls!
So my op is tomorrow! Can’t believe how quick it has come around!!!!
Thankfully I’m feeling much better so fingers crossed it all goes ahead!

Any wise words? What I should take with me?
Iv got a button up shirt to come home in, dressing gown and slippers. Anything else?

Also worried about the pain!!! I’m having 360 overs. Anyone else had overs and can advise on the pain?!

I am being admitted at 8am and my theatre time is 9-11! I’m not going with mya…

So excited yet very nervous! Hardly slept last night as all the normal things going around it my head ‘have I made the right decision’ ‘what if this/that happens’ lol.

Hey Charlotte, I think I just took the same, don’t really need anything else. Try not to be nervous and just enjoy the day. The pain is not bad more just uncomfortable, plus they will give you pain meds so really won’t be awful. Good luck with everything!!! Hope all goes well xxxx

I had mine yesterday and pain has been minimal, more just an ache. Can move my arms well too. I took pjs but just ended up in my gown until I got changed to come home. Took a hair brush, bobble, toothbrush & paste, make up wipes and roll on deodorant, sports bra and some fresh underwear. Make sure you take loose fitting clothes, zip up racket was easy for me. I had jeans on and they were a nightmare to pull up due to being bloated though so take leggins or something with you. If you have a long drive home, take a pillow to put between you & the seatbelt and something to drink xx

Could you actually do make up after? I don’t think my boyfriend will let me lol!
I’m just packing my hospital bag in case I have to stay for whatever reason. Fingers crossed I don’t though. I’m going to wear leggings to keep it easy! Jeans would be impossible lol. I’ll take a pillow! I didn’t think of that! 🙂 xxx

I did have overs. No couldn’t be bothered with make up and I bet you won’t be either, only thing I did was wipe & moisturise my face x

Yeap had overs, 480cc .. Healing really well. Had my friend & mum take care of me afterwards so just taking it easy. First two days was just uncomfortable with certain movements I.E “moving arms, sitting up” but so bearable. Stopped taking painkillers post op day 2, and I’m a drama queen when it comes to pain so it’s defo okay lol. Good luck Hun xx
