OT- meant to be going on holiday tomorrow and just realised my passports expired

HELLLLPPP!!!!! Flight is at 3.15pm tomorrow, if I went to the passport office and begged for an emergency passport would they see me? Panicking my ass off!!

If its a proper office (not just a local one) then yes, but they take all day, if it isn’t a proper office, you will have to travel for one. Sorry to be a burden of bad news, but it happened to a friend of mine, she had to travel to London from Cumbria (there was no appointments at Durham) and they cost a fortune xx

i know they have one in peterborough and cardiff, get on the phone to them but have ur purse handy because im sure its £££££££££££££££££££££££££ xx

my sis got her passport done in one day in glasgow – cost around 100 pounds for ‘fast tracking’ i think… defo worth a try asking at an official office anyway hun! good luck! x

oh no….it happened to my mate, he had to go to Liverpool and wait there for hours! That was after he rang them too! xx Hope you get it sorted! xx

Hiii! Sorry its been months, only just came back on the forum! To let you all know (thanks for replies btw) i drove down to peterborough (my nearest passport office) for as soon as they opened. At first the guy was like sorry no appointments, but then i started tearing up saying i needed to get to a wedding and he sneakily let me have an appointment but i had to be careful not to let anyone else there know otherwise others could want an emergency appointment too. It took 4 hours for my passport to be made and then i tazzed back just in time for airport. It helped that i had already packed and had all my documents i needed for the passport too. But for future reference ladies, CHECK YOUR PASSPORT because i very nearly died.
