Out of surgery – anyone else had a really tight feeling when breathing??

Hi girls,

Out of surgery and in my room, everything went really well!

Not actually in very much pain at all, but my chest at the top feels sooo tight and it’s hurting to breath in? Anyone else had this? Nurse said its fine but would love some reassurance from past experiences ?? thanks so much xxxx

Hi Honey – I’m in exact same boat as you. Just got home from Preston and mine is the same also v tight where the incisions are so think it’s normal. Hope you love your new boobies – happy healing xxx

Totally normal. I felt like I couldn’t take a deep breath. My chest was sooo tight and heavy. I’m asthmatic and panicked when I couldn’t take deep breaths but it eases off more and more each day
I’m only two weeks post op but i can breathe much more normally now.

Phew – thank you SO much for replying girls, you’ve put my mind totally at ease. I’ve just got home from Preston and can breathe much easier now. And actually in little to no pain which I’m very surprised about… But let’s see how I feel in the morning ? Hope you’re both super happy with your new boobs! ?? xxxx
