    Hi girls,
Originally when I went for my initial consultation It was kind of decided overnight stay and not spoke about again but now thinking about it I don’t know if a day case would be better? I live around 2 hours away so either way will definitely need to stay in a hotel but I’m not sure how comfortable id feel in the clinic overnight on my own and my partner who is driving me to London will need to book a hotel overnight anyway so I’m thinking should I maybe just stay in one with him? Just wondering what other people’s experiences have been like? Xx

I stayed in the hospital two nights with my reduction and it was absolutely fine. I had a tablet for entertainment as the TV’s were broken but I hear they may have been fixed. The nurses were fantastic and my fiance came down to see me then came back again to pick me up. I could have gone home after the first night but I’d already arranged my travel and I’m really glad I stayed.

I live 4 hours away from the fitzroy and traveled home the same night and I’m aware a lot of other girls have too ! I guess it depends on how you feel ! They advise you stay so thing an hour of the hospital but I stayed the night before my op and just wanted to get home to my kids and the comfort of my own home after the op and I figured if anything majorly serious went wrong that night my local hospital wouldn’t of turned me away xx

if your boyfriend is staying in a nearby hotel i would just stay with him! you’ll prefer his company too won’t you? and then if you need to go back you’re close enough anyway. i’m doing a day case and staying at my aunties in london xx
