Hi, I had my surgery yesterday & initially thought I would need an overnight stay to recover from the anaesthetic. In the end I didn’t book one & I didn’t need it. Had my op 1.30 ish & woke up feeling great. They keep you for 3 hrs or so after recovery & you need to drink plenty & eat before they let you leave.
My husband dropped me off, stayed for the doc consultation then went back to our hotel. I then messaged when I was back in my room from recovery room.
I took a bag with pjs & toiletries just in case I was kept in xxx
