Overs

Hi all. I had 335cc hp unders 3 and a half months ago. I’m having revision surgery on the 12th april and they’re putting my implants over the muscle instead.

Does anyone know the pros of having this? And also how do they look please. I love my unders and Ive heard overs ripple etc I’m getting worried. Thanks xxx

Iv got 375cc HP overs, I’m 3wpo and so far they are looking good, they drop a lot quicker than unders and the recovery isn’t as painful, I have pictures on my profile if you want to add xx

I’m almost 10wpo and I have overs :). I feel like mine are a lot softer and feel more natural. Also like what Olivia said, the recovery time is a lot quicker and they drop faster also! Xx

Did they say why u were having them over instead of under as this may explain your answer.

I have double bubble my chest muscle is too strong for the implant as I was a weight lifter. We thought it would work and it hasn’t so over is my only option if I want them to not look disgusting so doesn’t answer my question.

I want to know the pros and cons as I know unders is no longer and option for me other wise I’d just have my implants out.

Thanks Tyler and Olivia I love the recovery time that I’m excited for! I’m hoping I will have a better looking cleavage also do they drop a lot? I’d like them to sit higher up and look perky. Really nervous in case my breast tissue doesn’t cover them so well and it goes wrong for me AGAIN -.- xxx

Ur best bet is to research on realself.com sorry to hear what happened to you but overs usually give a good cleavage as they’re not being kept down by the muscle. Just be mindful of the size ur going for so you don’t over stretch the skin and get rippling.

Realself.com have a lot of advice and info from surgeons plus patient before and afters. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was someone in your situation on there too so would be good for you to see. Hope that helps fx

I asked mr traynor is there anymore risks that are more likely going over to under the muscle. All he said was double bubble was slightly higher in under the muscle but that’s about it. He said there is always rippling present in all breast implants from a certain angle because the implant isn’t a tight round shape which makes sense. It’s easier to demonstrate what he meant when you’ve got hold of an implant. In regards to people saying overs look more fake I don’t agree with. I’ve lots of unders and overs and most of the time can’t tell the difference x

I can kind of feel the rippling in my implant now which is under the muscle and that’s fine with me when I have overs aslong as my boobies look like a boobs and not 4 boobs I will definitely be much happier. im hoping with overs my boobs show off a bit better in tank tops as now they just look flat and there very low down I can’t get a good bra to bring them up xx
