Hiya girls, just doing some research and wondering what the difference is between overs/unders/partials? How did you choose? How do they sit different? If anyone can give me any info/examples that would be great?
    Thanks, Bree x

A lot of the time your surgeon will be the one that decides what placement you have as it depends on how much breast tissue you’ve got. If you have very little you’ll more likely be offered unders/Partials. More breast tissues and you can have overs.

I originally wanted overs but because I wanted 400cc he said I’d most likely have rippling if he went over, so we agreed on Partials xx

@hannahlaura oh that’s good to know thank you! I’ve heard of rippling before but unsure what it actually is? Xx

@bvictoriaa where you can see the implant kind of wrinkling under your skin and forming ridges, if that makes sense? Sometimes you can only feel it but others you can see it as well. So if there’s not enough tissue to cover the implant you can be at risk of it. There are other reasons as well though I think, I can’t remember from the top of my head lol. xx

@hannahlaura Ohhhh! Yeah that makes sense, I understand now, thank you! Would the surgeon tell you if you will be prone to it with a certain size implant?xx

@hannahlaura I’ve been thinking of going unders, if I’m right in saying they look slightly more natural than overs? I keep going back and forth with size as I’m currently a 34b wanting to be around a dd but I know they don’t go off cup size xx

@bvictoriaa yeah they do tend to. I know it’s so hard, it would have been so much easier if you could just say I want to be this size please lol. I asked to look a DD, and I’m measuring as an F! But I do feel I look more DD/E xx

@hannahlaura it would definitely be easier that way haha! I suppose they can’t predict exactly what cup size you’re going to be afterwards, everyone’s different I suppose lol. I just don’t want to go too big but don’t want to regret going too small also, it’s so hard! Wow! Everyone I’ve seen on the forum who’s bra size is an F doesn’t feel like an F which for some will be good! Gonna do a lot more research before I decide haha!xx

@bvictoriaa yeah I know even different back sizes make someone with the same implant look different! sometimes I wish I looked bigger, I think we always wish we had more!

For some reason I can’t accept your friend request right now, stupid website. Add me on Instagram tho if you like I have loads of pictures on there: myagirl_hannah 🙂 xx

Oh yeah we always want more haha, it makes it so hard cos I’ve seen a lot of girls go for 275cc/300cc/350cc and they all look lovely but I don’t know whether any of them would make me feel too small, it’s so hard haha! I’ve added you on insta!xx

@bvictoriaa id say from 34b to 34DD you’re looking in the 300s. But I’m not an expert! Although if you’d rather look DD and measure bigger maybe look to 400 xx

@hannahlaura I’ll have a look at both & inbetween those two, my waist is so small n I’m bottom heavy so I don’t wanna look to out of proportion xx
