pain!!

Iknow I’m only one day post op but can someone tell me how long this pain lasts for? I woke up in excruciating pain before and had to take painkillers before they were due, thanks.

Hiya hun. I was VERY BAD for the first 2 days and still struggled to get out of bed ect. Im now 5days po and the pain has pretty much all gone ( apart from im having problems with my left incision which is very sore so im worried it may be infected ) I havent needed any pain killers since this morning 🙂 it may feel like forever that you will be in pain but trust me it gets better 🙂 xx

I had a nap before and I was that stiff I couldn’t move! It was the worst pain ever trying to get out of bed, it hurts to be mobile but I don’t want pressure sores from constantly being in bed! Aww I bet you’re so glad you’re getting better! Thank you chick 🙂 it’s my left boob too it’s double the size and can’t move my left arm :'( I do love them though! Hope you’re okay xxx

I love mine. My main swollen one was my right but apparently that was due to being right handed and that id built more muscle in that side. I cried for 20 mins on my first night trying to get out of bed so im guessing its a normal thing. They say to try walk around the house so your muscles dont stiffen up to much but its easier said than done 🙂 it will get easier! If you need to chat or anything you can message me as I check this a few times a day 🙂 I also felt like my ribs was broken under my boobs and on my sides but that pain has gone completely xx

Hi Hun I had mine done Sunday and since waking up from op until this morning I was in incredible pain, I contacted my go who prescribed stronger meds as the mya clinic at Doncaster only sent me away with paracetamol and ibrufen, I’ve also not been able to go to the loo so on sachets for that too, honestly it does get easier, today I’ve got washed and dresses all be it in a track suit but that’s a massive improvement, my gp also advices to use I’ve packs which I did xx

thank you Christie, I really appreciate it! 🙂 I wish I could say my pain is getting better but it’s worse, I’m in total agony, I feel like my ribs have been broken it murders every time I breathe which is apparently normal :-/ although it doesn’t feel it! I keep being sick, just makes me regret my decision! Hope you’re okay and are healing well xx Hi Debbie, what has your Dr told you to use? Also, I was given cocodamol when I left the hospital but that’s supposedly what is making me sick so I’ve got to use paracetamol and ibuprofen instead! The cocodamol aren’t helping me anyway so it’s pointless for me to be taking them just to be sick! Aww you sound like you’re improving chick, so happy for you 🙂 I suppose everyone’s journeys are different, I hope you both are okay xx
