Pain an pain killers !!!

Had my op on Thursday and pain was ok up until yesterday afternoon , I can’t have codine so just on paracetamol and ibuprofen….. Is anyone taking anything else?? My left side seems to be ok but I’m worried about the right as it hurts a lot when I get up I keep thinking I’ve pulled the glue open or something , in the night I woke up and needed my pain killers and the toilet but couldn’t get up lol ? Also my stomach is really swollen!? Feel like I’m pregnant again… Big boobs and big belly!! Has anyone else had this !? X

I wasn’t aloud codine so they gave me tablets that’s was paracetamol and ibuprofen combined was so strong I ended up a zombie and a swollen belly I stopped taking them after 3 days tho and after 4 days off em I was bk to normal xx

Thanks I might go to the chemist to see if they can give me anything else, I’m hoping it’s the swelling that’s causing the issues and nothing else because I wasn’t swollen on Thursday at all thought I’d got away with it!! it’s driving me mad not being able to even get up I feel so useless when I’m usually so active X

I am still in a lot of pain too, my op was Wednesday and I have a lot of pain especially in my right side but they did use a bigger size in that one.. I’m on codrydamol and haven’t found its been very good so I’m just having codeine now but not much has improved.. I feel so useless I didn’t expect the pain to be this bad as everyone I spoke to didn’t have unders 🙁

I’ve been able to take codeine but I have go had that same pain on one side when getting up. Also the bloated tummy!
I actually found that the ibuprofen worked the best for me with the pain x

My nurse told me to to take ibuprofen for the first 2 weeks as it increases risk of a bleed? Cos I rang to ask her on Friday?

She told u not to take it? I was given mine when I was being discharged xx

Sorry yeah she told me not to? That’s really strange, the pain killers I was given is codrydamol but I haven’t found they’ve really worked so been taking codeine, day 5 now but still got pain ?

I was the same when I had mine done. The first 2 days I felt fine but the 3rd day my right boob which had a bigger implant was agony. It was like a muscle trauma dow the side. couldn’t move and was so worried. It lasted about 6 days before the pain had started to ease. It’s all normal don’t worry 🙂

My right shoulder blade is twitching this morning ? Feel broken lol!!! I’ve managed to do my daughters hair for school this morning as I can lift my arms up a bit more now!! Can’t wait until its back to normal !! X

I’m still useless haha! Forgetting what it’s like to be normal haha
