Pain killers

Hi , was any one told that they couldn’t take any painkillers 2weeks before opp my nurse told me I wasn’t to take any of my vitamins or pain Killers ( for headaches ) or my antihistamines for two weeks before or after opp but wanted to know if I could take any paracetamol I’m ten days away from having opp ? X
